FAQS
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center is a one-stop-shop for active individuals and families. We are, at our heart, a family medicine outpatient clinic. SDSM Physicians are all general practitioners at our core. In addition to primary care residency training, all of our physician providers have additional fellowship level training in sports medicine.

Dr. Bernadett has additional training in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures, which can help confirm musculoskeletal diagnoses and make office-based procedures more effective.
DO YOU OFFER TELEMEDICINE APPOINTMENTS?
Given the current COVID conditions, we are asking all of our patients with COVID-like symptoms or high risk COVID exposures to utilize our MyChart Video Visit telemedicine services. This way, we keep our office space a safe, low risk environment for our patients while still being able to care for and address our patients needs via telemedicine.
Other select types of office visits, such as medication refills and lab/imaging review, can take place via our MyChart Video Visit telemedicine as well.
WHAT TYPES OF INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT DO I NEED A REFERRAL?
As a primary care center, San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center does not typically require a referral and accepts many insurances. Please call our office at 858-793-7860 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Bernadett or ask specific questions about insurance coverage.
